The Asteria welding blanket is vertical use, medium weight, woven texturized and fibreglass fabric. Asteria is suitable for use as an all-round welding blanket. 

Features:

• Fibreglass cloth (texturized)
• 2-sided heat treated
• Temperature resistant to 550°C
• Peak temperature approx 600°C
• Suitable for light welding and Grinding
• Material weight 580gram/m2
• Made with 9 micron glass yarn to provide economic yet highly effective thermal and acoustic insulation
• Applications for this fabric includes lagging, padding, removable jacket, thermal insulation cover, welding blanket and other fire control systems.

Guidance:

• CEPRO recommends the use of multiple layers for maximum protection
• Always use welding blanket at an angle of 15 degrees
