The Theo Max Photonics MA1-35 Laser Welder is a compact and highly efficient handheld laser welding system designed to deliver fast, precise, and professional welding performance across a wide range of fabrication applications. Built for portability and ease of use, the MA1-35 combines advanced fibre laser technology with an air-cooled design, eliminating the need for an external chiller while helping to reduce setup time and operating costs.
Ideal for stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium, galvanised steel, and brass applications, the THEO MA1-35 offers welding penetration of up to 3.5mm while maintaining clean, low-distortion welds with minimal post-processing. The machine features an integrated wire feeder, wobble welding functionality, and a lightweight welding torch, making it suitable for both experienced fabricators and operators new to laser welding technology.
With up to 10x faster welding speeds compared to traditional TIG welding, the MA1-35 helps improve productivity while significantly reducing training requirements and labour costs. Its 800W laser output, compact 28–29kg portable design, and standard 220V/230V power compatibility make it well suited for workshops, mobile fabrication, automotive, manufacturing, and light industrial environments.

Each THEO machine is equipped as standard with a 7” intelligent graphical user interface featuring 32 pre-set welding programs, alongside storage capacity for an additional 32 user-defined settings. This enables fast setup, simplified operation, and outstanding repeatability across multiple operators and applications.
Designed with operator comfort in mind, the compact ergonomic welding torch provides excellent handling during prolonged use, while remaining durable enough for demanding fabrication environments.
Multiple welding modes, including continuous wave, pulse, and shooting mode, provide the flexibility required for a wide range of welding applications, including precision spot welding. The integrated wobble function operates across a frequency range of 0–280 Hz, while wire feed settings can be controlled directly through the graphical interface on the power source. Combined with high beam stability, this ensures consistently high-quality weld performance.
All THEO handheld fibre laser welders are supplied with a dedicated external wire feed unit featuring a robust 4-roll drive motor system for smooth, reliable wire feeding.
The MA1 series also includes an external interface for dual-channel safety integration, together with optional external interface control for compatibility with automated welding systems. An integrated 8-point safety monitoring system provides enhanced operator and equipment protection.
