You may need a hose adaptor if:

  • Your machine uses a 6mm diameter hose (this regulator is designed for 4mm hoses), or
  • Your machine does not come with a hose.

Check your setup before purchase to ensure compatibility.

Insert the pin on the base of the regulator into the disposable cylinder and turn it clockwise. You’ll hear a brief burst of gas - this is normal. Continue turning clockwise until the gas sound stops. Hand tightening is sufficient; do not use tools to overtighten.

Turn the black control knob on top of the regulator clockwise until you feel resistance, which indicates the cylinder valve is open. Then, continue adjusting the knob to set your desired working pressure. It’s normal for the knob to feel slightly loose - avoid overtightening, as this can cause damage.

Rotate the black control knob on top of the regulator anticlockwise until it is fully closed. Unscrew the regulator from the disposable cylinder by turning it anticlockwise. Store the regulator in a clean, dry place to prevent damage or contamination.
Tip: Never leave the regulator pressurised when not in use, as this can reduce its lifespan.

When using our disposable cylinders, a full bottle typically reads around 100 bar on the gauge. Readings may vary slightly due to temperature changes.

The contents gauge shows how much gas is left. When it reaches the lower end, it’s time to replace your cylinder.

  • Cylinder Contents Gauge (Left): Indicates how much gas is left in the cylinder.
  • Outlet Pressure Gauge (Right): Shows the pressure being delivered to your torch or machine.

The red lines indicate the maximum capacity the regulator is designed to handle.

This is the pressure release valve to safely vent excess pressure. It should not be adjusted or tampered with. Altering this valve will void the warranty.

clean water or leak detector spray to suspected areas and look for bubbles or listen for escaping gas. Do not use soapy water as it may react with the gas. If you suspect a leak and the regulator is still within the 3-month warranty period, contact us for advice.
